MOS
and so i went to MOS last sat.. my first time there actually.
irony isnt it? bein a self-professed regular clubber, MOS shud be e plce that i SHUD have gone to eons ago
Save best for e last, they say.. n certainly it wasnt disappointing at all, - if u cud excuse the fact that we are not allowed re-entry as part of e T&C for payin a low cover charge.
I love e fact that it actually caters to all. as in, there's like diff genres of music for diff pples. n i was oh-so loving it. i wasnt at Smoove all night, but more of 30 or so mins.. most of e time i was at 54.
Smoove was kinda disheartening n abit boring as the place was jam-packed! N the place reeked of BO. Dont these pple know how to spritz some EDP on em, or atleast roll-on their deodorants at e u-know-where? What more, with e typical-usuals there, doin their stupid ritual reciting, which brings me back to memory lane of Sparks. But IMO, Sparks wasnt that bad compared to Smoove. e ritual reciting thingie was gettin on my nerves actually n i wasnt really lookin forward to goin there, then. Seriously, what e hell are e typical-usuals thinking? We're already in 2008, for goodness sake! i supposed, maybe that's their idea of partyin n clubbing? Oh well, To each their own right.
Me n my 2 hot sizzlin gfs had a ball of a nite. We had e pre-party, MAIN party n not forgettin the post-party of course. Me n Babe actually extended out post-party to after-party as well by goin to Hllnd V for our lunch at Delifrance n some uniquely first-ever-in-Sgp organic shots. n woah.. it really was damn delicious compared to e norm tequila shots that i always had.
Our pre-party didnt go as per plan as Im supposed to head dwn to Babe's plc. N she's supposed to cook for me.! But for e fact that we only have 24 hrs in a day, we have to make do with whatever we have. So instead of goin to her place, both pre-party n post-party was at my plc. Since Dear Mama wasnt in Sgp then, might as well bring em back with me.
We actually intended to stay right till e end which is abt 5am, afterwhich followed by breakfast n finally Hm Sweet Hm. but as i mentioned previously, my legs are hurting n slowly killing me, we decide to call it a nite earlier. And this time round, it wasnt only my legs are affected, but both Babe's n Fya's too! hah! thats wat u get for wearing heels baybes!
we reached home at about 3 or 4 in e morn. So we went to Shop n Save to get some foodies to supplement out hunger. n guess wat we buy? a can of soup n 1 bottle of ILT. haah! Sheryl wanted to cook maggie with hotdogs, and as expected, after hours of hitting the dancefloor, the moment we hit home, we were all kinda lazy to get our asses up for e cookin part, except for Babe who actually did heated n re-cooked her Soup. Since the soup wasnt really fulling n with our tummies rumbling, what else? We called McD. Food arrived promptly n boy, did we ate with much gusto! Hungry man, pples, what d'ya expect?! n ermm... Maggie eh, Sheryl Sofya?
After watching dvd halfway, food eaten, tonnes of Kodak moments n some bitching n definitely the washing up of all e colours, we decide to drift off to lala-land at 5 or 6++am.. We only slept for about 3 hrs den its another brand new day. Body was aching like hell, we were sleepy beyond words n some other what-nots. But still, me n Babe made our way dwn to Hllnd V oke?! That goes to show how energetic we are even with the whatever shits we having/facin. Fya didnt join us tho, so off she went back.
Babe did some shopping, we ate some nice food, drank some nice latte n choc ice-blended, saw some nice stuffs n kitties n we went our separate ways.
Overall, had a blast.! am so lookin forward to e next MOS night. n another round of Pre, Main, Post party. Babe, yr plc e next time round?
oh, remember i mentioned i bought the Scholl Party Heel Invisible Gel Blister Plasters? that is definitely my leg-saviour for e nite.! it is so DAMN good, i tell ya! nvm e fact that it only last for like 5-6 hrs? Still, it is a must-have for me. n pple who are prone to having blisters, seriously u MUST geddit! Part with $8++ for 6hrs of bliss, no blisters hurting, i wud kill for it man! i so dun feel e pinch, even if it comes with a pair. But thnk god, it came with 3 big ones n 2 small ones. Whatever it is, i am damn thnkful they have it. a BIG thnk u for e one who invented it!
on another side note, Phuture is really startin to grow on me, u noe. i am kinda counting dwn to my another next Phuture-night out. maybe it is because, now i no longer look forward to club with or at places where it's infested with my own race? Dun get me wrong, i am still damn proud of my own race, but just that, u know, e usuals are really putting me off. Why? We know too well what's gonna happen next if u place bunches of e usuals in a cramped small place for too long. And also now, i prefer goin to places where there are mix ages n mix races.. Sgpore strongly advocates multi-racial afterall. So being a patriotic Sgporean i am actually doin a good act.. hah.. ok i am so talkin irrelevantly now, so before i go further, thats for today.
