Retail Therapy~
I have been shoppin like nobody's business lately.
And as a result, my available balance in e bank keeps depleting.
Last Sunday was very well spent. i filled all e hours up, all 6 hours goin from one mall to another.
Basically i start frm Queensway Shopping Centre then to Tiong Bahru Plaza n finally to Holland Village. I came home with a number of tops, some knee length pants and some other what-nots.. And when i go shopping, ofcourse i wudnt exclude my lovely Marlings.. that being said, i bought them a new food dish! and.. and.. and.. some new toys for them to filled up their hours as we all goes to work.
The next day i went IMM to buy some stuffs frm Daiso. Cheap as it may seem but the moment u stepped in, u grab a trolley or a basket n i tell u, in no time your purchases will totalled up to not just mere few bucks, but instead 20-30 over dollars.. But, this will not happen if u have a VERY STRONG willpower of not to buy some stuffs that just catches e eye. I know for one, that i am quite an impluse buyer. But i managed to curb e temptation. I didnt spent much there thou, like a total of $10 or so.
But when i go to Giant itself, i start grabbing some laptop accessories.. which i cud have gotten that at a much more cheaper price at the IT fair that i went the day before... i decide to purchase this mini vacuum which i tot it is like some kind of blower.. Reason for getting : my notebook keypad n screen always gets accumulated dust which i am so SICK of seein n blowing it everyday.
N i also bought this small LED light. Reason for getting : my hours of surfing the net is always at e wee hours of e morn, like for now. So i do not want to open a side table lamp or watever small lamp cause of some multiple reasons.. And for e fact that i need my specs when im on e my notebook, that just prompt me to grab it. Both of this appliances do not require plug in electricity, so goody goody! All i have to do is just plug it in my USB port n voila!
However i must say, i am quite disappointed with e stuffs dat i bought. The mini vacuum, is indeed a MINI one.. so the suction is also ultra MINI. Same goes for the LED light.
Talking abt IT fair, i make my way down to it on Saturday. Place was like as expected, swarming with tonnes of pple. Except that it exceeds my expectation of e num of pple there. i went there with e hope of getting some notebook accessories n hopefully some cheap photoshop... hehe... but e moment i reach there, i decide not to even think abt it. Place was super duper ultra PACKED. friggin crowded!
We just decide to to purchase Kakak's Dgcam. Seeing her gettin that DGcam, it make me feel like getting one as well... but i am very kuai that day. i managed not to let my impulse-buying-moments get the better of me.i hah! i know, i so deserve a pat at e back..keke...
I dont see any difference in e price nor e freebies that she rcvd when she bought e DGcam. thn agn, that brand is kinda well knwn of NOT slashing their price.
whats e use of IT fair when u dont get slashed price n extra freebies..? i know i sound like a kiasu auntie here, but seriously that is like e main motive of them having a IT fair n we goin to the fair itself too isnt it? i may sound negative here, but i am still thinkin of getting that same brand of DGcam at e next IT fair.. just different model.
And i wanna upgrade my notebook to acer at e next IT fair too.. hopefully i am able to lay my hnds on that much desired PHOTOSHOP as well. - Can u actually believe, that we, every single one of us who went to e IT fair actually clean forgotten abt checkin out on Photoshop when we were there. tsk!
and for today.. i bought 2 pairs of shoes, 1 top, 3 necklaces and 1 bangle. I FINALLY GET THAT M&S OPEN PEEP-TOE SHOE OKE PPLE?! =D boy, am i so freakin beyond ecstatically exhilarated!
oh, n how could i forget, i also bought this book by this wonderful author! Finally, the much awaited for! Im back to bookworm mode agn for now. n eventhou i already tell myself not to read anymore romance novels.. i still cant obediently oblige my words. really!
Why have i decide not to continue readin romance anymore, u may ask. Couple of not-so-mature reasons. but im already beyond that now. why shud i deprive myself of this little thing which is gonna bring me joy? eventhou i know that i will undoubtedly n unwillingly start thinking of what i shud not.., i am still goin ahead to read it.
So at the end of evrything, how much did i exactly spent altogether on both wkends?
Estimated amt shud be abt plus minus 400-500++.. I dont normally do this, so that's ok i suppose.? Hee.. Just dont turn it into a habit. : )
*did i happen to mention, that somewhere along last week i lost my voice? i became a rock star's daughter for quite a while. n it was NOT due to me drinkin alcohol or anything near dat. its been probably 2 wks or less since i last drank ok..! so that's definitely not e cause of it.*
