So i had a convo with dear Bitch last week. I was perstering her to accompany me go shopping.
Me : Eh when u wanna go shopping?
Her : Later lah, mth end. Pay hvnt come in
Me : Eh, are u gonna buy that summerglow anot?
Her : Later lah, payday ok?
Me : So, u gonna accompany me shopping anot?
Her : Go get yrself a bf lah, then we can do on double dates. Me, u , my bf n ur bf.
Me : (O_O) Shocked expression. Since when do i ever do shopping on double dates n with bf?!?
Her : Ala can what...
Me : (O_O) (*_*) (O_O) - I widely opened my eyes, shut it again n stare widely at her again.
After the convo ended, it got me thinking, why do i need a bf to go/do shopping? Do i need a BF to carry my shopping bags? a BF to pay for my purchases? a BF to stop me from impulse buying? a BF's opinion before i decide on buying? NO lor. I earn my own keeps so why should i be dependant on some useless guy who could change as fast a chameleon? And for shopping bags? I am more then glad to carry them on my own. To stop me from impulse buying?
Money is mine, so even if its a waste n i still wanna go ahead with the purchase, what can he do abt it? I know i sound very haughty here but i really dont see the point or need to find a bf cause of this or for any other reasons like to have someone going out with u, have someone be by your side?
Many will assume that since i dont hv a bf, i ofcourse will blogged in this way. Well guess what, even if i do hv one, i will still not choose to go shopping with him. Is a bf essential to go shopping with? Is he a necessity? I am all for shopping wit gfs or better off alone. And if u think i have not tried shopping with a bf before, u are so wrong. Been that, done that. It makes no diff if he's there or now. Physically yes of course, mentally? I really beg to differ.
I couldnt help wonder, are ladies nowadays depending too much on the other gender? Arent they capable to do things on their own? Why cant they stand on their own feet n do things their way? Why must they always seek solutions/answers from the other gender? Are the other gender's always proven right?
Or it is just me, too strong?
Isnt strong always gd? So that pple wont trample n walk all ovr u?
