So.. i gotten meself a lappie.. finally at last!

I of course make use of the Comex IT fair that has last Sunday.

Pple were swarming everywhere like hell!

So much for their 4M walkway...!

N not to mention all those pple who shove flyers rite into my face!

i end up having a bagfull of flyers frm all different brands n models~ e VAIO is to die for man! but its not in my budget n i certainly dun wanna bite more den wat i can chew n end up debtful.

i alr promise myself not to be laden with debts.

So i went for Lenovo 3000 Y410.

Its got all i wanted plus its within my budget,

so i guess all those shoving, pushing, stepping of toes makes it all worth it.as w.out e fair my lappie cost plus minus e price of a VAIO.

oh i must include this, it claims to be certificated dolby home theater audio system,

n i must say the subwoofer is super super cool for a music freak and a movie buff like me!

It also has this VeriFace Recognition .. .., sumthing which actually scan yr face everytime u login.

n once after they detect yr face, u dun even hv to key in yr passwerd over n over again everytime u log in.

considerin e fact that i take security very HIGHLY, as one of the reason to as why i got myself a laptop is because i wanna store my personal stuffs inside, e veriface werks real gd for me.
the only drawback is u have to wait like 1-2 min for the veriface to totally detect u..

maybe because i havent really had a decent shot of me input in the system yet,

its SO BLOODY HARDD to get one decent pic, i tell ya!

n so to cut short time i just key in e passwerd..afterall i doubt anyone will know what my passwerd coz its so definitely the un-thinkable.

i cant use my personal info like bday, ic num, bank acct num n what-nots as these info are no longer personal. almost everyone in my family knows it alr. sigh~

Oh n i cudnt resist the iresisstablY cheap slashed prices of e accessories.

so i got myself a thumbdrive n a cooling pad. knowing dat i wud spent hours n hours on my laptop the cooling pad is a definitely-must-get for me.

as for the freebies, wat i got are just pittance, certainly not worth mentioning at all lor, den again of coz wudnt reject it.

the only thing i forget to check out is the all-time important ROUTER!

silly me! now, how am i gonna surf WIRELESSLY at home w/out dat damn router!?

i dun even noe which to get.. what if its not compatible with my laptop?

wudnt that be a waste of my monies?

we not talking abt cents or a few dollars here alrite?

it can jolly well cough up to a few hundreds.

Im not tryin to be a scrooge here, but hey im supporting myself alrite?

plus my 3 cats, and on top of that i contribute to my familyand to top it off e amt im bringin back at every end of e mth isnt really dat fantastic hokay?!

but still im thnkful i still hv a mthly salary rather den zilch.

i cudnt managed being internet-less so, i let temptation get the better of me, i went to sim lim n get myself a router..
so now, im stuck.. dunnoe how to configure settings to start surfing wirelessly under my home network. sigh..

okok im retreatin for e nite.

i seriously need some router help here!

i can defitely go crazy thinking abt setting up my router, wireless networks all day long... sigh...

shud hv enrol myself in a laptop, no router or wireless networks school if i had know this!
