The lazy fingers are acting up. So,im just gonna post a brief summary of recent events.
Work is GREAT! total fun-ness.
absolutely nothin for me to complain.
Food at its canteen was ok n can be considered cheap! 40cents a packet of kopi-o, kopi, teh etc, a lunchbx of Fried Mee with generous helpings and 2 side dishes cost only $1.60 Normal mix rice comes with free fruits.
Now, if that isnt consider cheap then i dont know what is.
Picked up the stuffs i need to learn within 2 days. And im not mentioning any easy, light or whatsoever-u-may-call-it duties here. Im talking abt reports with tonnes of nums. Contractor rpts, manpower rpts, all others. And god knows how i freaking, FREAKING hate nums. But once u get the hang of it, its really easy.

I had a spooky experience yesternight, in the wee hours of about 2+am.
Ok here goes, i was on my laptop randomly surfing some sites n doing some random stuff. My 2nd bro was awaken n asked for a glass of milo, so being the good sister i went n did it for him. All was done, and i was washing my hands, right after i turn off the tap, the tap in the 2nd bathroom was open. At full blast, no less ok pple! Fucken damnit! i was shocked! Who wouldnt be man? Just imagine, u are the only person at home who at that point of time wasnt asleep and suddenly the tap in yr bathroom goes at full blast? A short n brief encounter, u may say. But nonetheless, it was spine-fucking-chilling lah orites?
On a lighter, not so scary note, today Yours Truly finally managed to try out McDees McGriddles! After so long~ Quite nice, abit on the sweet side. Well, its expected right, afterall the bun was pancake with syrup. If u have it on a daily basis, then ofcourse it will be very memuakan. It was unplanned thou. Since i had to go for a pre-employment check up which is required by the Shipyard and the clinic was located at JP, i figure why not have a McDees breakfast? Furthermore, its been quite a while since i last had em. McD breakfast, i mean.
My breakfast partner for today was none other my 2nd bro. The very same one who got me to make him a glass of Milo n hence making me experience that ghostly encounter. He was supposed to be schooling. At the break of dawn, he was all teary, telling me that his leg was hurt, cant even walk n etc. Turns out he got a bloody bad red red blister. God, how i hate em! And guess what? Earlier on, at abt 3+pm, the very same blister-painful brother actually went to play soccer! Soccer?! Can u actually believe that?? I wonder what happen to the cant even walk, teary-weary, leg-hurting. Anw, i cant possible leave him all alone at home, so he got no other choice but to follow me as well. Plus he proves to be useful too cos he makes a good photographer, well atleast for today. Some of the below pics are credits of him. So feast yr eyes on the pics pples.
Btw, im having some butterflies in the stomach for tomorrow's 1st day at Keppel. Will it be the same as CG? I somehow doubt that.

The holiday was Great with a capital g n triple awesome!
We chose to accomodate at Hotel Novotel Batam. According to the site, its stated as a 4 star hotel. But from my own overall personal experience, I'll gladly rate it a 5 star hotel!
At first i was kinda disappointed when i saw the hotel itself. Disappointed that it was along the dusty road, unsightly choke full drains, muddy sidewalks. But after i lay foot at the entrance of it, boy am i awed! The bellboy, concierge was all so friendly. I know they are supposed to be friendly. They really do make me feel at home, u know. All my disappointments was quickly switched to impressed.
The room service we ordered was scrumptious. Even the snacks they had in the mini bar was finger licking gd! And i gotta say their buffet breakfast was really a good start in the morning.
If Sgp hv KFC, fret not, batam have that too n in addition they also hv BFC.
Wondering whats BFC? BFC = Best Fried Chicken. Haha. I wouldnt wanna rave much on BFC thou, and having type that i presume u guys know what point am i trying to get across. To compare, i think Sgp's KFC is of course better den batam's. Oh, we had a BIG, nono.. make it gigantic, heavy, enormous lunch at this restaurant called Golden Prawn Seafood. We're being told by the driver that this is THE place to go for seafood. I somehow beg to differ thou. Not implying that it is not nice, it is actually. Just that, well its not really excellent as per se.
The room we got was abit small to me. i guess it'll be ok for a family of 5 sleeping in that room. It just somehow seems small to me. Yours Truly had to sleep in the extra bed which is not as comfy as the single beds the others are having. Talking about beds, their beds are all so uber comfy, and the extra bed? Just so-so.
The swimming pool they had was only indoor thou. Its not really fun when u cant go swimming n basking in the sun at the same time.
The shopping malls we went to, was also so-so to me.
The much raved about Nagoya Hill was booorrriiiinnnggg.. atleast to me it was. Nothing caught my eye. Absolutely nothing. BCS or better known as Batam City Square was better. Atleast i got myself some stuffs there. And know what did i get? A wireless mouse n a cooling pad with blue LED light. Cool or what? Haa.. After converting to SGD, its freaking cheap. The mouse was less then 10bux! and the cooling pad was about $16+ or so?
Did i mention the hotel we stayed in offer free WiFi?
And silly me, i thought each rooms comes with a laptop or maybe they have a internet room or something like that. But it wasn't, they actually place the internet cable in each room. Had i known that earlier, i would have bought along my laptop.
All in all, i am very happy and satisfied guest of Hotel Novotel Batam.
My only regret was that i didn't bought my laptop along!

OK, strike that silly idea of me wanting to post a tribute to my previous company.
Who would wanna read it anyway?
Its been a month or so since I've been bumming at home doin nothing.
The first 2 weeks was great, as i do not have to wake up by the crack of dawn, yawn good nights by 11pm, wrecking my brains on what to wear to work 2mr, wrecking my brains yet agn for the 2nd time thinking should i bring home-cooked food for my lunch.
But gradually as time passes n weeks developing to month, i soon got tired of it and was abit restless. Restless that now i no longer receive a mthly paycheck, that now i cant go shopping when the moods kick in, cant go party n spend like how i used to, cant treat my brothers n e rest to movies, KFC n etc, cant send my Marlings for frequent grooming and cant buy them treats that are abit on the high end. I can name a few more, man.
So, Why did i resign in the first place?
- Firstly, after 2yrs of being with them, i feel i didnt progress at all. Same job title, same pathetic salary. Well they did increase, but just a lil wee bit of 20bux or so? My mom can do better, seriously!
- Second, u know its about time to throw in the resignation letter when yr immediate superiors did not do the job of looking after u, and thats not the 1st time it happen.
- Third, you know u still have annual leave but yr leave is subject to extreme availability cause if yr directors decide today he wanna bring some of his old, semi-bald, non-speaking ENG, partial blind friends or stupid shareholders[whichever applies, i cudnt fucking care less], yr leave is automatically rejected.
- Fourth, when u already inform the said person in charge of leave application, that u gonna take leave on the eve of a PH or the day after a PH a mth in advance, but at the last min they then tell u : Actually i applied on the same day too, so Personnel doesn't allows 2 admin staff to be on leave on e same day. Fucken crap!
- Fifth, when u apply for leave, obviously u have some thing else to attend to right? Well, guess what? The c.o dont think likewise as u. If they feel yrs is not impt, its rejected. As simple as that.
- Sixth, when people pushed all their job responsibilities to u just because u have nothing at hand to do. While i understand that its stated in my job scope : other ad-hoc duties as n when assign by superiors. They seems to forget or perhaps dun understand what Superiors actually meant. Do Delivery Dept staffs n Sales Co-ordinator frm Sales Dept sounds Superior to u? It certainly is not to me.
- Seventh, when people are very sore over the fact that i cleared all my paperwork and the fact that i have nothin at hand, they then asked u to do some silly stuffs like mass faxing n mass stamping of the C.o hotline num at every D/O paper.
- Eighth, when people takes u for granted just because u are kind and helpful? Isnt helping the security guard zapping some of his personal documents for the countless time helpful enuff? Now he actually wants u to help him send an email n do some printing as well! Do i really look like a some kind of a HELP-I-CAN-HANDLE-IT-ALL counter to u?
- Ninth, when some people just cudnt help it but to be a gossip monger n starts telling some rumours that it makes u looks VERY bad? thats not all, it certainly doesnt helps when the same person actually decide she wanna be a 2 headed snake, by prying into your personal lives. haven't they heard that u shud set aside personal n work matters?
- Tenth, this is the final straw. The one reason that totally jerks me off the cliff. The sole reason which makes me decide to tie up all my loose procrastination. Handling lunch distribution. The way the lunch was packed was very horrendous. Pieces of meats jutting out, gravy spilling all over, punctured lunch boxes. We're talking abt MEAT here, charsiew, pork n etc. Have they actually forget im a mulim? My c.o has abt 60+ staffs, why me? Why cant they asked the General Clerk, Sales Co-ordinator, Production Clerk? Just because i dont really have anything to do? Hah!
My mum always tells me, follow yr heart. Dont just stick with the same decision just because it gives u convenience. Whats impt is security. In my then c.o i dun feel secured at all.
Plus, i figure i rather do something i like, then do something i dont like. Staying in that co, really is not something i like at that point.
Sometimes i ask myself, am i doing the right thing? Was the decision i made at the spur of moment? Was i so overwhelmed n blinded by anger at that time?
After reviewing all the many reasons, i knew i made the right choice.
What's not to say that i may received a way more better offer after this?
Im gonna be optimistic, im only gonna think of all the good stuffs.
Wallowing is despair will not get u anywhere.
PS : My hols are next week! How fast time flies! =D

So i watched What Happen in Vegas today. It was awesome! Hilarious n touching towards the end.
Two strangers who wake up to discover they got married sometime during the previous night's drunken festivities, with one of them winning a huge jackpot on the other's quarter. The couple set out to undermine each other and claim the coin, only to fall in love along the way.
Worth every penny u spent for the movie.
And Ashton Kutcher is freaking handsome!
Then, last Saturday i managed to catch Indiana Jones and the kingdom of crystal skulls. Also a good movie. That was my first time ever watching Indiana Jones series. I loved it! Action packed and all. If i had known ID movies were this greeeaatt, i would have catched all the previous ones at the mega screen back then. But no worries, there's always DVD n free online movie sites.
There's also Shia LaBeouf in it, the guy who played the primary role in Transformer. Man, he's hot too! In it, he plays a guy who's ala ala Grease age.. With the hair all back-comb. Hah..
Inshort, I am a very satisfied sell-out audience for both movies n Chocolate too.
My own ratings?
Chocolate = 9.5/10 -- i was a lil bit dissapointed cause i thought the movie was abt Zen, the Mom. I thought she's the one doing the fighting, but nvm, her daughter in the movie makes up for it. But still, its definitely absolutely AWESOME with all caps n bold, no less!
What Happens In Vegas = DEFINITELY FULL MARKS, DISTINCTION!! I am so bought over! Nuff said. Catch it if u can, pple. I dont think its still airing at the big screens. Actually it's abit like The Break Up starring Jeniffer Aniston & Vince Vaughn. But What Happens In Vegas is definitely better, thou. The fact that it is starred by Ashton Kutcher n CameronD is already a huge start! And another fact was, the ending was SO not like The Break Up which i feel is redundant as it is all loose threads. Crap, if u ask me.
Indiana Jones = this, i give 8.5/10 -- the remaining 1.5 marks was because Yours Truly was kinda abit lost on how suddenly there's a lady, a son, marriage, love n etc backtracking. Well, like i said above, i miss the previous shows so that kinda makes me abit lost somehow. Fully understandable, right. Movie wise, Great with an capital G!

I felt so dissatisfied, indignant, displeased, discontented with the end result.
It is not supposed to end this way, if u ask me.

I swear i am so NOT gonna watch any WWE, TNA, ECW, or any other matches that have links with them in any way, for that matter.
Thank god, Nenny have already cancelled off the sports channel.! For that, i am happy cause i dont hv to watched any more fucken matches.

And a num of wrestler has also been fired by the outcome of the matches. Ric flair, William Regal. Damn, i fucking dont like all this. This is so not the right way!

Am i turning nocturnal already after a mth idling at home?
I cant slept at all ysternight. I kept tossing n turning all night long. My eyes are very wide awake. And if u are wondering, No i did not consume any caffeine at all. Not even a sip of it!
U see, i at-e-spur-of-moment decide to sleep at the hall with my bros n Sue. Reason being : to try out the newly arrived red sofa. It feels so darn good to be seating, slouching, lazing ard in it, but the same cant be said when it comes to sleeping. I swear i am gonna use the sofa for its rightful purpose n not for others. Not even for napping!
Thinking it was e weather, i again took a bath at abt 3+ in e morn. Prior to that i had already showered at midnight, right after i had finished posting abt that Chocolate movie.
Actually at 2+, I was already dozing off when my last bro's tummy was rumbling so he persuade me to cook for him. And as much of a lazy pig i am, i just didnt have the heart to say no to him. I cud have woke Bibik up, but i figure its just boiling so yea..
Since sleeping at the living room doesnt seems favourable, i moved back to the room.
Afterwhich, I got myself engrossed playing games at bro's hp that i lost track of the time n i didnt heed any of my yawnings. When i realised that my vision is goin blurry, that's when i know i am on e hp for tooooooo long already. Now i finally understand why my eyesight keep deteriorating. So i tried to force myself to sleep agn, but yet to no avail.
So i toss, and toss n turn n turn, all e way.
And for those that personally knows me, u guys are probably very well aware of e fact that i am easily freaked out by any movements or noises, especially in these dead hours.
Like as if seeing shadows at my corridor walkway n hearing foot's stomping is not scary enuff? What's even more disturbing is when u vividly hear someone, a small child to be precise is crying.
Thinking that i am just imagining things, i brushed the thoughts aside. But e more i try to brush it away, the louder e wailing got. So much for thinking that at these hours, it is as quiet as a cemetry, aini.
By this time, i try to occupy n switched my mind to other stuffs like the upcoming holidays n such. But still, without fail e wailings are still going on.
And the next thing i knew, my brother was already at the foot of the door n sobbing. So, thats where the wailing comes from! When i probed on why he's crying, e reason he gv was very chuckling. Something abt him not having his bolster. Haha.. i think, like me he too is not used to sleeping at the living room.
Last time check before i finally goes to zzz-land was 0545 or so?
I am so crossing my fingers that tonight i dont hv to undergo the same yet again.
Sleeping at irregular hours is not something very nice, trust me.
The plan was to watch What Happen In Vegas as i got 2 complimentary passes. But when we reached there, its already sold out. Then had to made some last min decision n we decide to watch Chocolate.I've come across this saying that said, Some of life's decision are best made at e spur of moment n not to think of it to death. N my oh my, how true is that! Maybe it cant be use or say for other times or occasion, but for today's instance, i totally cudnt agree more on it.!
This is the definitely e BEST movie so far in 2008 I've watched! If u are amazed by Tom Yum Goong n Ong Bak, u shud n certainly will be triple awed n wowed by this! This is afterall by the same director.
- 1st reason - The fighter is a girl, n she seems pretty young. Talk about a girl kicking some ass!! *i hv yet to see any movies featuring girls as Muay Thai figther, so this explains why im all about raving it.*
- 2nd - She's autistic, mind u! I mean, in the movies it is.
- 3rd - She settle her ailing mother's debts by seeking out the ruthless gangs that owe her family money. Fillial huh?
It is absolutely so worth every penny of it. Even if u are not an action-movie fan, u will be glued to the big screen frm the beginning to its end, this i can assure u.
U must, must, must, MUST catch it before the film meets it's dues on e mega big screen.
i honestly cudnt emphasise more on how worth-every-cent, must watched/catch, great, superb, marvellous movie this is.

Im on a movie marathon this week , n prolly next week too. So depends on how gd e movie is n how my mood is for the day, majority of my entries shall be about movies, reviews n etc. Its gonna be Indiana Jones for this weekend, What Hppn in Vegas n Kungfu Panda next week. And of course, Wanted by Angeline Jolie once its open in cinemas.

Yakuza Masashi and his Thai lover Zin were forced to separate with Masashi being sent back to Japan and Zin to continue staying in Bangkok as a single mother. Brought up single-handedly by Zin, their daughter Zen, is autistic in nature. She is compensated with agility and picks up Muay Thai through watching television programs and from observing the trainings taking place at the Muay Thai academy next door. Zen becomes an obsessive fighter who excels at catching fast-flying objects. When Zin is diagnosed with cancer, Zen has to fight her way through to collect money from her mother's debtors to raise her medical funds.
