So I made my way dwn to the Family day which was organised by my Co. I thought its gonna be a real boring event. Eventually, it wasn’t. I infact had oddles of fun, and also getting sunburnt while at that. Met with tonnes of people. People whom I knew, who are my used-to-be neighbours, who’s a friend’s ex and the likes of it. A real bonding session with all staffs from our sister’s yards.

Over the weekend, I went out with X on a spontaneous unplanned date. And guess where that bugger bring me to?! U guys can NEVER believe yr ears or eyes in this case!

4 rounds of walking or rounding at this Park near JP. 4 full rounds ok damnit!
What kind of a date is consider a date when yr date bring u out to a park and keep on cricling the same park for e 4th consecutive time on a very GOOD potential fun-filled night? So after going into what seems to be the 5th round, Yours Truly is already kinda pissed off. So I had to ask : -

Me : Are we just gonna do nothing and walk all night?
Him : Yea.. Im still very nervous, u see.
Me : Well, why don’t we just call it a night? U look pretty tired to me.
Him : well, ok then. Are u free tmr? Wanna go out with me agn?
Me : (0_0) !!!!!!! shocked expression!

After he popping that q, I couldn’t help wondering if he’s gonna bring me out and go walking for 8 rounds now.And shouldn’t I be the one who’s nervous? I am the girl afterall? After 4 rounds, u still are nervous, then something definitely must be wrong with u! And even when sending me off to the bus stop, he still wanna walk to n fro! Just exactly what it is with this guy? Maybe he loves walking too much I guess. I am surprised why he did not register himself for brisk-walking events or TNP Big Walk.

Even if he havent got any plans, JP is just a fucking walking distance awy! He could have bring me to Mccafe and we could like talk over cofee or frappes. If he’s thinking of tryin to scrimp the moolahs, then tell him to screw himself. Don’t even dream of a date when u blardy feel the pinch of forking out $4+ over coffee! Such a miser.

Ok, Say he’s not the talk-over-coffee kinda guy, there’s a movie cineplex there! And its very apparent that he know Im such a arcade gaming freak, he could have also asked me to enjoy that date by indulging in my gaming moments. Oh, I forget. He is such a scrooge that even $4 he wanna scrimp, So generally movies or even gaming is obviously not on his BUDGET list.

Beloved great grandma passed on. So dear to me. Feel so surreal. Cried uncontrallably. Flashback of her bringing food to me when I was in primary sch keep replaying back to back in my mind.

15th Nov
Morning part was very sombre. Made my way down to the burial ground, see the last of the late before they finally descend her to the final resting place. Those fond memories, I will keep close to my heart. Ya Allah, have mercy on her soul. Al-fatihah. Of all places, I bumped into someone frm my high sch while I was there. What a place!

Afternoon part, had to go to a cousin’s wedding. Atmosphere was kinda weird. Still the mourning n grieving period, u see. Decide to keep our spirits high cause e wedding still hv to go on. The wedding was a blast tho. With all those motor ‘convoys’. Really an bustling event to remember. I was telling the bride since her other half is into designs, my wedding I make sure im gonna use the yard siren or loudhailer to mark my arrival or to ‘escort’ me off.. Haha. =D

Oh, and before I forget, Sgp is indeed a very very small dot. And thank god for the wedding, I bumped into yet another someone whom I knew way back then in those ‘days.’ He’s still e same thou. Then again, he will never change. That is something that I am very sure of. “This are my roots, Aini.” Those are his exact word. Oh wells. To each his own.

A chummy colleague’s wedding to attend to. Need I actually elaborate more? Or maybe I should. Unlike any other weddings, regardless with or without convoys, this is something very different. And new to me. She got this military bridal march and military something-something sword ceremony. Yes yes, like the ones u always see in dramas. Very cool, I think. Something different frm the norm, isnt it?

Somewhere along the past weeks, I’ve got 2 guys telling me that Im very high maintenance and sort of classy. High maintenance??!! Just because I indulge or enjoy good food, I eat at places that looks a lil bit expensive, I am deemed high maintenance? Well well.. Whats the whole purpose of sloggin yr guts out day in day out when u don’t wanna pamper yrself for a weeny bit? Plus I don’t think the places that I went to are exorbitant? And these 2 guys happen to be the one whom im dating ard with right now. I guess maybe that kinda scares them off abit. Haha.. Good in a way thou.
